“Owning a small business myself for many years, I am honored to receive the endorsement and support of the National Federation of Independent Business,” Ahern said. “I will continue to work hard to support our small businesses, which create a majority of the jobs in Florida and are the backbone of our state’s economy.”
The National Association of Independent Business has announced its endorsements in Central Florida’s Florida House and Senate races and has endorsed Larry Ahern for State House District 66. NFIB is Florida’s largest small-business association.
The NFIB has endorsed Ahern because of his “commitment to small business job growth and elimination of burdensome regulations,” said Tim Nungesser, Florida’s NFIB’s legislative director.
The NFIB is the nation’s leading small-business advocacy association, with offices in Washington, D.C. and all 50 state capitals. Founded in 1943 as a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, NFIB gives small- and independent-business owners a voice in shaping the public policy issues that affect their business. NFIB’s mission is to promote and protect the right of its members to own, operate, and grow their businesses.
